Snarf is Lion-O's personal guardian and closest companion since his childhood. It is not a ThunderCat warrior in the strict sense: it is a creature of the species Snarphyte, small, plump, with reddish orange skin and a long tail, whose main instinct is protect Lion-O at all costs. Its name comes from the sound it constantly makes: "Snarf, snarf!"
Snarf represents unconditional love, absolute loyalty, and boundless concern. Sometimes irritating due to its excess of protectionism, it is always endearing due to the purity of its devotion. It's the softest emotional heart of the entire series.
📖 History and Origin
Snarf was assigned as Lion-O's babysitter and guardian when he was just a baby on Thundera. He cared for the young Lion-O throughout his childhood and developed an almost paternal bond with him. This relationship explains why Lion-O, even when he is already Lord of the ThunderCats, continues to treat Snarf with a mixture of genuine affection and loving exasperation.
When Thundera was destroyed, Snarf escaped with the others in the evacuation ships. His personal mission never changed: to keep Lion-O safe, even if the young man no longer needed as much protection.

Snarf has no weapon or special power, but his role on the team is irreplaceable for several reasons:
