Panthro is the ThunderCats' strongest warrior and the team's mechanical genius. Based on the panther (panther), is an imposing figure: muscular, with dark blue skin and a serious look, with a tough character that hides a deep loyalty towards his companions. Panthro was one of Thundera's most decorated warriors before its destruction. Along with Tygra, he served directly under Lord Claudio, Leon-O's father. His mechanical skill was legendary on the homeworld, where he was already designing high-tech vehicles and weaponry for Thundera's forces.
Arriving on the Third Planet, Panthro channeled all of his talent into a single creation: the vehicle that would become the most recognizable symbol of the ThunderCats after the Sword of Omen.
